Sexual and Related Misconduct Training Program

COCR Sexual and Related Misconduct Training Programs for Cornell students include the following courses, available in Canvas:

  • COCR 100: Discrimination and Harassment on Campus – Your Rights and Responsibilities as Graduate and Professional Students
  • COCR 200: Discrimination and Harassment on Campus – Your Rights and Responsibilities as Undergraduate Students
  • COCR 300: Student Leader Responsibility – Bias, Harassment, Discrimination, and Sexual and Related Misconduct

COCR 100

All new graduate and professional students are required to complete COCR100. This is an online course accessible via the Graduate & Professional New Student To Do List at the start of each semester. The course is required by law and informs students about Cornell University Policy 6.4, “Prohibited Bias, Discrimination, Harassment, and Sexual and Related Misconduct,” and Policy 6.3, “Consensual Relationships.” The course also provides information on University resources and bystander intervention options.

COCR 200

All new undergraduate students are required to complete COCR200. This is an online course accessible via the First Year New Student and Transfer Student To Do Lists at the start of each semester. The course is required by law and informs students about Cornell University Policy 6.4, “Prohibited Bias, Discrimination, Harassment, and Sexual and Related Misconduct,” and Policy 6.3, “Consensual Relationships.” The course also provides information on University resources and bystander intervention options.

COCR 300

COCR 300 is an online course (Canvas) required by law that informs students about campus policies, responsibilities, and resources specific to students in leadership roles. COCR 300 must be completed by student organization leaders prior to receiving recognition or registration and by student athletes prior to participating in intercollegiate athletic competition. Student leaders and athletes should complete either COCR 100 or 200 (or their equivalents) prior to completing COCR 300.
