Responsibilities

  • Promotes University compliance with Title IX, the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA), and other federal and state civil rights laws through incident response and resolution, the development and delivery of training, and timely revisions and updates to the University’s Title IX-related policies and procedures
  • Serves as a central resource for Cornell University across its several campuses on the wide range of issues addressed by Title IX, the Clery Act/VAWA, NYS Education Law Article 129-B, and Cornell University Policy 6.4
  • Administers the Student Procedures, Employee Title IX Procedures for Resolution of Reports Under Policy 6.4; coordinates Title IX incident response and resolution
  • Supervises Title IX investigations and leads the Title IX team within COCR
